Wondering About Future
The results are out and new trimester commences. It will be Week 2 tomorrow and =D I’m a 2nd year student now (also the final year). Based on the subjects that I took this trimester - 3 of them are programming based subjects, it made me get thinking again; what am I going to do or to be after I finish my study?
What I have in mind right now is that I will apply to continue to degree level right after my diploma (I’m pretty late compared to my old classmates during school years - long story) and I am planning to take Security Technology for the degree. I’m currently doing my Diploma in IT. @-@; The plan is mostly based on my interest for now and I hope I can actually do well in that course. (Random stuff - programming is fun!)
I actually still can’t think much of what to do after studying. Pretty much clueless for now. I used to envy those that able to write exactly what they are planning to do or going to be in their application (or was it their CV?) while I wrote random thing related.
One of the lecturers teaching us talked a bit about working as a programmer. She said that we should not stay as a programmer for a long time, 5 years and then upgrade ourselves. She also said that we should at least try to be good in 2 programming languages - if I’m not mistaken. I’m pretty sure I’ll keep that in my mind.
o-o So much stuff I can write here but it might stray away to another stuff. Stopping here for now XD and I will continue wondering about this.
